Properties
Transport:2590
Melting Point: 800-850 deg C
Flash Point: °C
Boiling Point: °Cat760mmHg
Density:g/cm3
Solubility:In a laboratory study of the dissolution of chrysotile in water, an activity product of chrysotile (1X10-51.0) in water at 25 deg C was determined. The results suggest that chrysotile is slowly soluble in water under conditions of continuous extraction.
Specification:

Asbestos, chrysotile (12001-29-5), a slender, fine, flaxy fiber, also can be called Magnesium hydrogen orthosilicate hydrate (3:2:1) ; Antigorite ; Chrysotile ; and White asbestos .Long term occupational exposure to the dust can result in lung cancer. It is resistant to fire and most solvents. The primary hazard is the threat to the environment.
