The Sodium pyrosulfate is a colorless translucent crystals or white lumps and have hygroscopicity.It can soluble in water and to be sodium bisulfate, the solution is acid, also soluble in fuming sulfuric acid and insoluble in alcohol. It is a salt of sodium and pyrosulfate, also, it can be obtained by the dehydration of sodium bisulfate. This is an intermediate stage in the preparation of sulfur trioxide.
