It also can be called?Aluminum sulfate hexadecahydrate ; and Aluminum sulfate hexahydrate .?Aluminium sulphate (CAS NO.16828-11-8) could be stable under normal temperatures and pressures. But it?absorbs moisture or water from the air. It should avoid the condition like incompatible materials, exposure to moist air or water. It is not compatible with strong oxidizing agents. And also prevent it to broken down into hazardous decomposition products: carbon monoxide, oxides of sulfur, carbon dioxide, aluminum oxide. However, its hazardous polymerization will not occur.
