Uses of 1-Naphthylhydrazine hydrochloride: it can be used to produce 2,2,2-trifluoroacetophenone 1-naphthylhydrazone at ambient temperature. It will need reagent 2,2,2-trifluoro-1-phenyl-ethanone  and solvent ethanol with reaction time of 48 hours. The yield is about 56%.
