Tin phosphide (SnP) (25324-56-5)

Fire Hazard: Tin(iv) phosphide (CAS NO.25324-56-5) can produce flammable and toxic gases if it is on contact with water. And it also may ignite on contact with moist air, heat, sparks or flames. Some react vigorously or explosively on contact with water.May re-ignite after fire is extinguished. Some are transported in highly flammable liquids. Containers may explode when heated. Run off may create fire or explosion hazard.
Health Hazard: Tin(iv) phosphide (CAS NO.25324-56-5) is highly toxic.If  people inhaled the toxic gas produced  by the Tin(iv) phosphide (CAS NO.25324-56-5) , it may be fatal. Also inhalation or contact with vapors, substance or decomposition products may cause severe injury or death. 
Reactivity Profile: Tin(iv) phosphide (CAS NO.25324-56-5) is a reducing agent. It slowly produces flammable or noxious gases if contact with water. Reacts quickly upon contact with acids to give the very toxic gas phosphine. Can react vigorously with oxidizing materials.
