Uses: This chemical can react with 2-bromomethyl-1-methoxyanthraquinone to prepare 2-{[(trifluoroethanoyl)oxy]methyl}-1-methoxy-9,10-anthracenedione. This reaction needs reagent trifluoroacetic acid and solvent CHCl3 at heating condition. The reaction time is 2.0 hours. The yield is 92%.
