 Nilutamide is marketed under the name Nilandron in the United States and under the name Anandron in Canada.
 Nilutamide should be stored in original container in a cool dark place. It will emits toxic fumes under fire conditions. If inhalate the product, first, remove to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Then seek medical attention at the same time. While on skin, immediately wash skin with soap and copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. When in eyes, immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Then seek medical advice. If swallowed the product, wash out mouth with water, provided person is conscious. Seek medical advice.

Biological Activity: Non-steroidal and silent antiandrogen. Binds to androgen receptors and also inhibits androgen biosynthesis in vitro . In rats in vivo it inhibits androgen-induced prostate weight increase and inhibits negative androgen-dependent gonadotropin feedback leading to an increase in luteinising hormone and testosterone. Orally active.
