Specification:

Isoamyl cinnamate (CAS NO.7779-65-9) is also named as 2-Propenoic acid, 3-phenyl-, 3-methylbutyl ester ; 3-Methylbutyl 3-phenyl-2-propenoate ; Isopentyl 3-phenyl propenoate . Isoamyl cinnamate (CAS NO.7779-65-9) is pale yellow liquid with an iridescent sheen. It is insoluble in water. It is an ester. Esters react with acids to liberate heat along with alcohols and acids. Strong oxidizing acids may cause a vigorous reaction that is sufficiently exothermic to ignite the reaction products. Heat is also generated by the interaction of esters with caustic solutions. Flammable hydrogen is generated by mixing esters with alkali metals and hydrides. Isoamyl cinnamate is probably combustible.

Storage Temperature: Keep in a cool, dry, dark location in a tightly sealed container or cylinder. Keep away from incompatible materials, ignition sources and untrained individuals. Secure and label area. Protect containers/cylinders from physical damage.
