Properties
Stability:Stable. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
Water Solubility:Soluble in water
Solubility:Soluble in water
Appearance:lyophilized powder
Specification:

Trypsins should be stored at very cold temperatures (between -20°C and -80°C) to prevent autolysis. Autolysis may also be prevented by storage of trypsins at pH 3 or by using trypsin modified by e.g. reductive methylation. When the pH is adjusted back to pH 8 activity returns.

Report:

Reported in EPA TSCA Inventory.

HS Code: 35079090
Storage Temperature: −20°C
Color: YELLOW TO GRAYISH-YELLOW POWDER OR CRYSTALS
WHITE TO YELLOWISH WHITE CRYSTALLINE OR AMORPHOUS POWDER
Usage:Enzyme preparation obtained from purified extracts of porcine or bovine pancreas. Its characterizing enzyme activity is that of a peptide hydrolase.
