[Fire Fighting]

Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed containers cool. Containers may explode in the heat of a fire. To extinguish fire, use water, dry chemical, chemical foam, or alcohol-resistant foam. Water spray may cause frothing. Cool containers with flooding quantities of water until well after fire is out.

[Fire Potential]

Combustible material: may burn but does not ignite readily.
[Ingestion]

Do NOT induce vomiting. If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid immediately.
[Inhalation]

Get medical aid immediately. Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. DO NOT use mouth-to-mouth respiration.
[Skin]

Get medical aid immediately. Immediately flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Discard contaminated clothing in a manner which limits further exposure.
[Eyes]

Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid immediately.
[Storage]

Keep away from sources of ignition. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances. Keep containers tightly closed.
[Handling]

Wash thoroughly after handling. Wash hands before eating. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Avoid ingestion and inhalation. Use with adequate ventilation.
[Inhalation]

Irritation may lead to chemical pneumonitis and pulmonary edema. Causes severe irritation of upper respiratory tract with coughing, burns, breathing difficulty, and possible coma.
[Skin]

May cause severe irritation and possible burns.
[Eyes]

Contact with eyes may cause severe irritation, and possible eye burns. May cause eye injury.
[Ingestion]

May cause severe gastrointestinal tract irritation with nausea, vomiting and possible burns. Causes severe pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and shock.
[Hazards]

When heated, vapors may form explosive mixtures with air: indoors, outdoors, and sewers explosion hazards.

[Personal Protection]

Eyes: Wear appropriate protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles as described by OSHA's eye and face protection regulations in 29 CFR 1910.133 or European Standard EN166. Skin: Wear appropriate gloves to prevent skin exposure. Clothing: Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin exposure.
[Respirators]

Follow the OSHA respirator regulations found in 29CFR 1910.134 or European Standard EN 149. Always use a NIOSH or European Standard EN 149 approved respirator when necessary.
[Exposure Effects]

Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause dermatitis.

[Small spills/leaks]

Absorb spill with inert material, (e.g., dry sand or earth), then place into a chemical waste container. Neutralize spill with a weak acid such as vinegar or acetic acid. Clean up spills immediately, using the appropriate protective equipment. Remove all sources of ignition. Provide ventilation.
